Colon was just too much for Detroit. The Cleveland players and coaches started to leave Colon alone with his thoughts after the game reached the 7th inning. By the time the 9th inning rolled around, you could hear a pin drop every time he went to his wind-up - and an explosion after every out. Colon mowed down 10 Detroit batters. Detroit went down without a fight in the bottom of the 9th. Jason Marquis(0-1) was given the loss. He pitched 5 innings and surrendered 4 hits and 3 walks. 'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Colon, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile,' he said. 'I'm numb right now, I'm overwhelmed.'
